Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Katie Beb Photography (“the Photographer”) and the Client (“you”). By booking a session, you accept and agree to the following:

1. Bookings & Payments

  • A non-refundable booking fee of £10 is required at the time of booking. This secures your date and time.

  • The remaining balance is due on arrival at the shoot, payable by card or cash.

  • No payment plans are offered; all fees are due in full.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients may reschedule a booking with at least 3 days’ notice without losing their deposit.

  • Cancellations made with less than 3 days’ notice will result in the loss of the deposit.

  • If the Photographer must cancel a session (including due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances), the deposit will be refunded in full.

  • Sessions may be cancelled by the Photographer up to 30 minutes before the scheduled shoot if necessary.

3. Session Details & Client Responsibilities

  • Sessions are held at the Photographer’s home studio.

  • Parents/guardians are fully responsible for the care, safety, and supervision of their children at all times during the session.

  • The Photographer accepts no liability for injury, accidents, or damage occurring during the session, except where caused by proven negligence.

  • Any damage to studio equipment caused by children, parents, guardians, or other attendees may result in the Client being charged up to the full replacement value of the equipment, or the closest equivalent available on the market at the time of damage.

4. Image Rights & Usage

  • Once purchased, clients own full rights to their images, provided parental/guardian consent has been given for underage subjects.

  • By default, the Photographer reserves the right to use images for marketing, portfolio, website, and social media purposes, unless the Client opts out in writing (via the notes box at checkout or by direct request).

  • Clients may use images for personal purposes only (e.g., printing, sharing with family, posting on social media).

5. Delivery of Images

  • Images are delivered via ShootProof, in a password-protected online gallery.

  • Turnaround time is typically within 2 weeks of the session. This timeframe is an estimate and may be extended due to circumstances beyond the Photographer’s control.

6. Liability & Insurance

  • The Photographer holds Public Liability Insurance with Admiral.

  • The Photographer is not liable for:

    • Loss or damage to Client property.

    • Accidents, injuries, or issues arising from Client or child behaviour during the shoot.

    • Delays or cancellation due to events outside the Photographer’s reasonable control (e.g. illness, emergencies, power cuts).

  • Clients are liable for any damage caused to photography equipment or studio property by themselves or their children. Charges may be applied up to the full replacement cost of the item or its closest equivalent currently available on the market.

7. Data Protection

  • The Photographer respects your privacy. Client information is used only for business purposes (e.g., booking, gallery delivery, and communication).

  • Data is securely stored and managed by third-party providers (Wix and ShootProof).

  • The Photographer will never sell or share client data with unauthorised third parties.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By booking a session with Katie Beb Photography, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
